The OASIS project began after Hurricane Maria, as a response to emotional resilience training based on citizen competencies. Mainly for residents of eastern PR, Naguabo, Yabucoa, Maunabo, Patillas, Guayama and Las Piedras. Emotional skills workshops were offered, addressing the issues of communication, motivation, conflict management, and emotion management. In the area of citizen competencies, the topics of organization, mobilization and community activation were worked on. This project lasted 6 months and managed to impact more than 1,000 people.
