The INARO Project was created in 2018 as a collaboration between the community group Jovenes del Barrio, from Montones in Las Piedras. And the Research and Social Action High School (INAS) of the University of Puerto Rico in Humacao. The achievements of the INARO Project have been: Educating the community on the issues of the Covid-19 pandemic, distributing food and supplies to many Las Piedras families, carry out tests for Covid-19, and carry out vaccination clinics for influenza and other diseases.
