Description: As part of its opposition to the Law to End Puerto Rico's Bankruptcy (P. DE LA C. 1003) and to the Financial Oversight and Management Board for Puerto Rico imposed after the approval of the PROMESA Act, Alacena Feminista de Mayagüez invites the community to participate in the 'Public Hearings' held during the debt adjustment plan confirmation process. In addition to this official event, citizens are invited to participate in the 'People's Tribunal' colloquium to share testimonies of community self-management and mutual aid. This event was coordinated to take place at the Federal Court on Chardón Avenue in San Juan.
